HP increase in 2000? Marketing?

    The 00 has a different ECU & injectors than the 98-99.

    10 more HP? I seriously doubt it. The main benefits are increased MPG, easier starting (auto fast idle), better throttle response & if you're into the whole green movement, the catalytic converter.

    Bikez also lists the '98 as having more HP than the '99 so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I saw a Honda claim the other day that had the '98 at 110PS which I had to look up bu it's apparently about the same as HP.
