Howdy all. I just became a VFR owner by "upgrading" from a Ducati. I traded my 2007 Multistrada 1100s for a 2000 VFR Interceptor (and some cash of course, haha). Couldn't be happier with the trade though. I also have a 2001 Ducati Monster 750 which rides like a dream, and I have to say, the few miles I have put on the VFR so far remind me a lot of the monster. It has a low center of gravity (great for my 5'9" height), and just kind of goes where I want it.....which is always a good thing!

I live in the Houston area, and enjoy off roading in my Jeep as well. I work in a plastic fabrication shop making things like weapon's vaults and center consoles for police vehicles, using HDPE plastic. Awesome material, and I have made things like frame sliders, GPS mounts and aerosol can holders for my garage. I have a few plastic ideas for the VFR. I am also a family man (wife and 2 year old daughter) and a volunteer firefighter. The wife doesn't like camping, but hopefully I can meet some local bike owners who are down for a weekend ride every once in a while.

Since I hate having to read a bunch of stuff and not be rewarded with pictures, here are a few for you all:

The "new to me" VFR. Yes that is my Monster 750 behind it, and if you have a really good eye, the small gray item in the top right is a 1976 Indian M5A I am working on restoring....slowly, haha:

And just because, who doesn't like a dog pic? This is my German Shepherd, Roxie:

Welcome to the nut house Justin. Nice intro, great toys (thanks for the pics) and Roxie is beautiful. Funny that you up graded from a Multistrada to the VFR. I have a pristine 2007 RWB Interceptor but in Dec. 2014 acquired a 2012 Pikes Peak addition Multistrada and feel like I upgraded. The Interceptor is special though and it stays. Enjoy your rides my friend.

Welcome aboard. Nice bikes. The jeep looks like fun. My dogs could never do that. Ha ha.
