How to remove throttle tube

    Hi, I am installing rised bars to my 5th gen ant trying to remove throttle tube. I removed two screws from housing but tube is still stays with handle bar. What I miss to do? I also atrached photo. Pls help me!

    The top cable in that pic has the slack adjustment. Loosen the lock nut, and turn the adjuster as far in as possible. That will give you enough slack for the locating pin in the housing to release, and you can then slide the bar out from the tube.

    Thanks! I will try to loosen this cable, tried already but not easy, it is soo tight.

    Shouldn't be that tight. You need a 8mm wrench (adjuster) and 10mm wrench (lock nut).

    I'm guessing you're trying to slide the tube off the bar without undoing the cables... can only be done if you remove the handlebar, drop the fork in the triple clamp if need be.... yes not a lot of extra cable.
    Captain 80's method preferred.....
