HOW to Remove AIR CLEANER HOUSING electrical connections ? (6th Gen VFR800A09 )

Hi

Electrical connections to the air box wont get off with reasonable force, why ?
[ I need clearance to the front CCT (like in this link or tottally off) ]

1. How do U disconnect the 2P (White) connector from the IAT sensor ?
2. How do U Disconnect the 2P (Gray) connector from the bypass control solenoid valve ?
3. from the map sensor? (is it necessary?)

They are sometimes very hard to disconnect but more importantly they have little tabs that you must press in order for the locking mechanism to be released. Take a good look at the connector and you should see the locking mechanism and what you need to do to release the two pieces.

 

Jewelers screw drivers work well to release tabs if your fingers a fat or arthritic like mine.
