Stumbled onto this Vid which teaches us how leaning to the outside will unnecessarily increase the bikes lean angle at any given speed.

well the gist of the second video was 2 guys riding buells(?) weaving in and out of traffic, passing on the right. Leaning wrong on a turn and crossing through! oncoming traffic then crossing back and flipping everyone off. It looked like he may have even been clipped by a car when he crossed. Not sure as I couldn't watch more than once because I kept thinkin how far the stories about these two idiots would go to ruining the rep of motorcyclists everywhere.

haha in that case i guess I am glad the navy blocked the vid, cause I get mad watching morons pull that stuff.

my girlfriend was scared for me riding my bike last week because some a$$hat on a sportbike passed over a double yellow heading towards her and she almost hit him. It is hard to explain that the sport is much less dangerous if one isnt a total MORON.

So let me get this right....you're supposed to lean WITH every bike except Buells, which are used to clean out ditches? and for grill emblems on cages, right?

Hollenbeck, you'd probably get more responses if you created a post specific to your issue/question. That being said, as far as being a heavy bike, I do not notice it at higher speeds, only during slow speed maneuvers. A few things that can affect your turning, tires, suspension and bike geometry. Before I put on a set of Michelin PR2s, the bike didn't seem to handle as nimble as it does now. I also upgraded my suspension and it definitely handles way better in the turns now too. As far as I can tell though, my geometry is stock but changing the bikes geometry just a little can make a world of difference. Dropping the front down a little (raising the forks in the triple clamps) can quicken the steering, it only takes a few mm to effect a change. Pick up the book 'Total Control' by Lee Parks, it's a great read even for someone of several years riding experience and he covers riding posture and suspension setup, both of which may improve your situation.

    Cheers
