How much for a new front end and to start racing

Im only 17 and I started riding last July spent 1500 on a 95 vfr750 with only 6500 miles. I'm now wanting to start racing and was wondering how much it would cost to get the bike in racing condition and etc. However, if I don't I was wanting to put a new headlight kit on it like this one http://www.bikeexif.com/mv-agusta-walt-siegl I know it's an mv Augusta but the classic 70s headlight would look nice in my opinion just wondering how much it would cost.

Ooo very nice idea, love that MV there.. But.. you're talking a lot of Pecos, as in lots of $$$$$ to get the 4th gen anywhere close. Now if you are dead set on this, then start off slow, but do please re do all the suspension first, from that you can start working the cosmetics form and function into play. I've always thought the 4th gens basic engine and chassis would be a hoot to play with and for the most part doable but???? You should track down a gentle man here that goes by Seb., He has done a lot of fabricating.
