I ordered my complete set of fairings for my '86 VFR750FG this last March (2010) and have only heard from him barely a handful of times when I have called or emailed more times than I care to count? It is now almost November- WTF?!?!?!?!?

persistent problem, use search - folks have mixed results as chuck evidently has a day job and does this as a hobby

The best thing to do is forget about them....the will show up sooner or later.... 8 months? thats still pretty good for chuck...you should be getting them in a few weeks.. I don't think he has ever gone over the 9 month period... youo could also start the daily email bombardment as well as calling ..but I think his Voice mail would just fill up and he would ignore you.. This ois one of the things that sucks about dealing with Chuck

He may not be timely but his product rocks. I would say worth the wait myself but understand where you are coming from. Good luck.

If you keep the phone calls/e-mails down to about once a month, he'll actually respond. Anymore than that and you'll be ignored.
You ordered a "complete" set? I'm surprised you haven't received any pieces yet. When I ordered a "complete" set for my (long since gone) '86, it "only" took about 4 months for the first piece to arrive but unfortunately the next three boxes came in about 4-6 weeks apart from each other. Total elapsed time approximately 8 months.

It's a good thing that ol Chuck doesn't deal in body parts.

Not at all. My part will be choosing the matrix and aggregate. Your part will be to watch out for cars.

I ordered a front wheel fairing, one piece tail and a solo seat cowl and inners. The wheel fairing and seat cowl and inners took about a 4-6 weeks. My tail fairing took over 6 months.

Everything was worth the wait in the end, but you're going to end up waiting a while.

Yep, still waiting. Oh well, I just got in a wreck with the VFR#2 so I'll be repairing it for a while but I'll probably need to talk to an insurance guy to see what the insurance will pay to fix the damage so I won't be riding the #2 for a while anyway.

If you send Chuck a X-mas card that may butter him up a bit. Ya never know.

Sounds like this dude's calendar is based on the gestation period of African elephants. Ain't never seen a pic of his stuff. Anybody got one or two or three?

This is for an electric motorcycle conversion, so the gas tank was not sealed together (I requested it that way), as it will cover my electronics (more at www.evfr.net). The front upper is from Airtech Streamlining and the sides are from Beasley Composites.

This is beginning to get ridiculous, I'll have to look up the payment to find the exact date of the one year anniversary, it is coming soon.

Yeah.......may be time to ask for the funds back. Maybe that will motivate him.
