Hey Guys happy thanksgiving. After putting my bike away in the shed for winter storage, we got like 2 days of 65+ weather...I'm pissed.

However today I took the windscreen off my bike to see if i couldn't spruce it up a bit. There were some scratches on it from the previous owner, and after bleeding my clutch up at the banjo bolt, it has a lot of splash marks from the brake fluid ruining it, (it looked like peter north got a hold of it..if you catch my drift.) So I was looking for replacements and was wondering if I could save it from the trash, and remembered I had a can of Duplicolor Black Plastic Paint. It's made for indoor/outdoor use, and I figured I don't look thru the windscreen anyway so why not give it a shot. Even if I screw it up I'll get a new one like I originally planned.

So Here we go. I started today and am letting it dry through the night, we'll see how it looks tomorrow.

Here are a couple of pics of the damage before I started:

Since I recently detailed the whole bike, I knew the windscreen was pretty clean so I just used to invisible glass and paper towels to wipe it down:

I wish I could have stopped here at the 2nd light coat, where it was still see-thru but obviously didn't cover up much, also I painfully found out that the garage floor is NOT an idea place to paint with all the damn things flying around and sticking the paint:

And so on and so forth...

If I'm happy with the last coat tomorrow I'll upload a pic of the screen on the bike. let me know what you guys think!
