1985 vf700f temp gauge says im ok, but I know its reading the water temp not the true engine temp. This thing feels like it is getting way to hot! Never overheats but the engine gets plenty hot to where you wouldnt want to touch it with your bare hand.

ANyone with the same bike tell me how hot your engine gets on short medium or long bikes?

Oh yeah one time I was really revving the pee out of her for a few miles hittin the red lines and just pushing her to hard and I did get a little overflow out of the bottle, but I had overfilled the bottle on accident. Anyways any input with someone riding the same bike would be great

Also how do you do a wheelie? j/k

I just replaced the coolant in my 5th Gen with Engine Ice. It dropped my steady state temp from the 210f-220f range to the 160f-180f range. It will top 200 when sitting at a light but drops back to the 160f-170f range in about 2 minutes of riding. I would definitely recommend this product. The only real drawback I can see is the temperature swing is very dramatic. It will go from the 160 to the 200 in 60 seconds the minute air stops passing over the radiators. Get moving & it works just like I said.

    Engine Ice - Welcome
