Don't know, maybe the vfr is now getting used-I adj some. I will try and set at 1200 when really warmed up well and see if that works. perhaps the cable just needed to be tighten up a little. check out the brake pad deal I got-those pads go for $150-i paid $62 shipped-JC whittney -one screwed up company-they don't know what they are doing. The order has shipped. I used some pj1 cable lube maybe it was sticking-adj the screw and the pj1 lube should fix it.

Try setting it a little higher SOW, say 1300-1400.

what does the manual say id speed is? Isn't 1200? It was at 500 way too low and stalled a few times, I didn't notice this till today, but yesterday it was slow too' , I would think 1200 would work. I used some pj1 cable lube.

your cable has nothing to do with your low idle problem.

I was able to get the rpms up to 1000, I am sure a bit more turning on that knob-I can get it up to 1200, it just seems hard to turn. Oh I wonder if I hold the throttle open would it be easy to turn? Maybe closed makes it hard to turn.:bowl:

well next time ,I see if I can get 1200 that knob is very like dealing with BB at a troll bridge. If the rpms go too low it takes too long to get the rpm's back up fast.

SOW may be pulling his knob rather than turning it. s/min rather than r/min.
