So Ive finally got her running right ish so I put her all back together. Then run her on high revs for a while to ensure the fan kicks in which it did(excellent) Howeve now the fan wont turn off its on constantly. Any ideas guys I tried it again a moment ago several hours after and still on.

Yeah the swiitch that fits into the rad is almost certainly sitcking in the closed position. Just disconnect the two wires going to the switch and the fan should stop. If you short the wires together the fan will start again. Those swtiches do seem to give trouble and I replaced mine after the fan failed to come on (I could hear the coolant boiling!). I got a new swtich from David Silver Spares in the UK.
