Honda hard panniers bit worried ?

Hello every one! Am thinking of buying some Honda hard panniers for my 03 v-tec and have never ridden with panniers, am a bit worried that I will be to wide for filtering through traffic and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this ?
Also how do you judge if the gaps wide enough to go though when filtering with panniers?

I have never actually measured it, but I don't think the side bags are even as wide as the mirrors, if they are, it isn't not by much. If you are really worried about it, get a topcase.
