Anyone have any plans or examples of Home made wheel balancing stands that will work with the rear wheel of the VFR. I have found some interesting projects for bead breakers, changing station and balancing stands but no balancing stands for the rear wheel of the VFR.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    BP

    Hey BP,

Harbor Freight actually sells a pretty nice balancing stand for $49.99 and the adapter for Ducati wheels is another $19.99. They also sell a bead breaker for $19.99...all you would need is a couple of tire irons, some rim savers, and some stick on weights. Good to go for changing tires, all for about $120.00. The stuff would pay for itself within 2 sets of tires.

    NCB,

Thanks man for the info. I'll see if I can pull it up on the HF site.

I just happened to be at Harbor Freight yesterday, buying a digital caliper, and saw the stuff tucked away on the bottom of a shelf. I checked it all out and thought that I might get the setup to try it out. For $120.00, what do you really have to lose.
