Welcome aboard and congrats on this "alleged" motorcycle. Please post pics of said motorcycle before others come in this thread and call you liar LOL! Other than some minor electrical gremlins the VFR is a great all around bike that can last you a long long time. How many miles/km on it??

So....Scottie....How much did you pay? And how much money do you make? And really, what do you wear under your riding suit?

Hi chain driven. Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy the VFR 800. I know what you mean about the Triumph triples as I have had3 of the Hinkley models.
What part of scotland are you in? I have a couple of trips North of the border planned for later this summer and thought that you might be able to suggest some good rides

High from SUnnY SoutH Flor-ee-dah. Welcome aboard mate. You have Hagis for breakfast? Good thing you gave up the Hinkley in favour of a proper Motorcycle  Loved the Isle of Sky when I visited!!!

Thanks mate I have visited the Green welly several times on previous visits. this year Sue & I are staying at Langholm down in the Borders.
Later in the year I'm coming up the West coast and staying in Lochcarron.
Your advice about the midges is good. Don't ask me how I know :)
