Hi, my name is Scott, and I am new here. I am looking to buy a 2002 vfr800. I just put a bid in on ebay. I am trying to get myself introduced here. I live and work in Ojai/Ventura. It would be cool to meet others with the same bike and go riding. I go to bike night in Ventura on Thursdays with my current bike. If anyone has any pointers or opinions i would be open to hearing them. I have been riding a while now, but I am still learning.

welcome to VFRworld. I live just up hwy 101 from you, there are at least a few other VFR riders on the way from there to here that I know also. We ride pretty regular with all bike types and you'd be welcome any time on whichever bike you want to ride.

Thank you so much for the invitation. Right now I have an old 1990 Ninja EX500. It has been a good bike, but I cant wait to get the VFR800. I look forward to your next ride. Where do you guys usually ride to?

VA in VARollOn stands for Virginia, so it would be a nice bike and a better ride back to the Left coast. Welcome.

Hi, I just had a beautiful ride on my VFR today from Moorpark , Grimes canyon to Fillmore , 126, 150 throught Ojai and 33 back to 101 and home (about 90 miles). Lots of bikes on the road both ways we all waved even harleleys , Goldwings and all kind of sport biles... It was my firts real ride with my vfr after my bicylce injury (clavicle fracture, surgery etc) since May 12 (vfr bought on May 05). Get your VFR and I am sure will see you out there... I hev a 2007 red (the fastset colour). Velcome to the forum...

    Ride

Dude, that sounds like a sweet ride. I just rode the 33 last weekend, maybe we saw each other, lol. I was on my old Ex500. I am thinking of going up the 33 today, but I think it is closed due to the wild fire up there. Anyway, glad you had a great ride, look forward to riding with some of you. Let me know when you go out next and would like someone to ride with. Thanks Scott
