I would sell my 98 but im a little far from you. Im in northwest alabama. Bike is great just ready for something different. Maybe a 6th gen or superhawk. Either way a honda for sure.

 

Good luck. I spent about a year trying to find a half decent one that was priced reasonably.

 

That's only about a 12 hour ride. You could do that in a hard day, but easily in two if someone really wanted a specific bike and the price was right.

Hey. Just thought. You aren't one of the stars from that Moonshiner show are you?

 

How would one go about being able to ride a bike back from out of state, if it has not been registered for the new owner? I don't have a trailer, etc. But there is uship.com which I've used several times. Taylor65, could you tell me more about your bike and pictures if any?

Also, regarding moonshiner show, are you talking to me or? I don't even know what that show is. I need to get rid of my Dish network as I don't even watch anything on tv hardly.

I was sort of just joking about selling to you so far away. But I have heard of people going farther. It has 35, 000 very well taken care of miles. I am the second owner since around 10, 000 miles. Like the original owner it has always had gn-4 honda oil and honda oil filters put through it. It isextremely clean. I would have to point out the few scratches or blemishes on the paint. It has always been kept In a climate controlled garage. It has a new chain with new sprockets about 1000 miles ago. Has a double bubble smoked windscreen, tank bra, k&n air filter, recent valve adjustment along with new honda coolant put in. I also have the original owners manual along with the factory service manual. If you send me your e-mail I can send you some good pictures of it. I have it listedIin the huntsville craiglist at 3600 but realize thats a little high. Also it has the regulator/rectifier problem of these bikes taken care of. I also have a good trailer I could sell you if you need it for 350. I think its a 6foot by 10foot.

 

And no im not a famous moonshiner. But I have drank some before.

Not sure how far you're willing to travel, but if you go on Craigslist for harrisburg, pa there are a few on there right now.

 

Thanks Darth, I have seen all 3 the lowest price one is almost the best deal but I want something a bit cleaner. The one that has damage and dented tank is way over priced. And the one for 3400 may be actually the one to go for but again it is not as clean even if he took 3000 cash as he states. Am I being too picky? Might be but the bike is not that rare yet so will still wait. Distance to PA not an issue at all. I am trying to work with a seller out in Indiana but it is his first time using CL and pretty much needs his hand held when he goes online it seems. I have taken all initiative to try to prove I am a real buyer and enlisted the help of Jamie Daugherty whos shop is out there so he can represent me and pay and assist in shipping. The seller at this point still has yet to call either of us. Seriously, why even post your ad online? Why even have an email address? Pretty annoying I have already sent funds to Jamie and awaiting a response. He stopped responding on Saturday for some reason. We will see funds should be with Jamie today and will once again update the seller and if no response I will move on.

The guy could be spooked from the warnings cl gives when you post an ad stating something like always sell locally. I know that you are legit but theres a lot out there who are not.

i agree there are a couple that are way over priced this doesn't look too bad, at least not for the price.
