Hello! I just bought a project bike - a 95 VFR750. It had rear ended a vehicle at low speed, which bent the forks and messed up the plastics. Forks have been replaced but thats as far as I've got. Will definitely be here trying to piece this bike back together!

I've got it stripped down to make sure nothing else is wrong. Paid a whopping 750 bucks for it. Normally I'm a cruiser person, im surprised at how light this is compared to my 1700cc road star haha.

    Welcome to VFRW.

I hope that you can reasonably repair the fairing plastics. They are not an easy find to purchace in good shape used and almost unheard of in new condition at over twenty years old.

I will be watching for the progress that you make on your restoration.

Hello from Dayton.... I had a 95 for 7 years, put around 35k on it, riding between Pennsylvania to Georgia. I miss it.

    Welcome for your rebuild adventures.

    Welcome to the Madhouse:Welcome:

Good luck with the project. Those 750s are pretty robust and hopefully you will be able fully rebuild the bike or if not, you can still produce a street fighter with that glorious V4 engine sound.

    Have fun.

any hit that bent forks ruined the steering head bearings, so they need replacement. :(
