Hi all I recently bought a mint 2005 red viffer. This will be my second one. I bought a new one in 98 and sold it after 4 years. For the past few months I've looked around for a bike that cought my eye, and kept coming back to the VFR. When I sold my 98 I told myself, the next bike I bought would have more horses. But I just couldn't get over the stunning beauty of the 6th gen. VFRs. Now that I've had it for a few weeks, I think that I would only get myself into more trouble if I did have more power under me. :smile: I'm still not sure if I like the new VTECH though. I find it kind of upsets the bike when it kicks in. I wouldn't want to be in a major lean when it did. All in all, I'm quite satisfied.:biggrin: Now to add a few mods...ei... hugger, slipons. Does any one know where I can get my hands on these items? Any brand better than others? Looking forward to share the fun!
welcome to the site. I ride a 98 myself. I think thurm motorsports in Germany makes a few mods for the VFR. There is also ebay stuff. Pazzo levers. Lots of exhausts. There are a few things out there, but not nearly as much as you might find on a fireblade, etc...
