Hi from bonnie Scotland

Hi there folks,
Name is Ian and i'm from central Scotland.

Currently own a Suzuki GS500f (restricted to 33bhp as I am on a restricted license) and as of April can ride any powered bike I like. Got a red '00 VFR 800fi lined up for that time. I've yet to test ride it but the snow has started up again which has put a stop to that event.

I ride when I can and love making videos of the ridouts with my local forum.

Ihave 2 camera mounts on the bike and sometime carry a pillion who shoots freehand off the back of the bike.

I'm into rock/metal music, golf, gaming (just finished assassins creed 2).
Father to 1.5 children (2nd one due in June).

I plan to be up your way this year (June time probably) as I hope to ride from Lincolnshire to Skye.

Skye is a beautiful place to be full stop. I aint done it on the bike yet but hopefully will get up there soon. I'm based at the bottom of the Highlands so I have access to lots of great areas but yet i still find myself wanting to head west for some reason.
3 of us did a trip to Oban and back within a day last year and it was amazing. If you can, try to plan a route up the west coast on your way up, then east/central for the way home.

Imagine that. You golf. You probably drink Scotch too. That swill. Oban...Nice and peatie. Welcome to our castle of sanity. The wife and my next major trip will be to Scotland. Just not quite sure when. I am looking forward to Castle touring and sampling a few drams of the spirited water there.

 

I also wear a "skirt" (to weddings).
