Hey guys...and girls. I am a new member here and for the last year have been the proud owner of a 1987 vfr 700f2 with body panels and colors from a 1986 vfr750. This bike is from florida originally and has 21,000 miles on it. It is in super shape! I live in ontario, canada. This bike rides like it is on rails. I only have to think of cornering and it is leaned over. Tons of power too! I just got a rear seat cowl today from e-bay. They are super hard to find!! The one I got is used and scratched up a bit but only cost me $100.00 to my door. Got a lucky break I guess. I would really like to find a 4 into 1 exhaust system but they are rare too. Anyway glad to be part of this site/group where we can ask questions and share info. When I get a digital camera I will post a few pics of my ride. Later, Chris.

Hi Chris. Welcome to the group. Parts for olders bikes deinately are hard to find, I feel your pain in some respects and I have a 93 model. But keep searching, ya never know when a part you are looking for will turn up. Glad to have you hear with us Viffer lovers.

Hey guys...you might want to try the website www.timscbx.com. It's Tim's International Motorcycle Shop in Alpharetta, GA. They specialize in the restoration of vintage motorcycles. The owner's name is Bill Brint. That's where I bought mine. 1986 VFR750. He is also a personal friend. For decals...email my brother at brettsbikeworks@bellsouth.net. His name is Brett. He does the paint and body work for Bill at Tims. Brett orders the decals from Canada and it takes about 3-4 weeks to your door. Hope this helps!

Hey guys, thanks and I wrote down that website and I'll e-mail your brother to ask for the contact info for the decals. I guess I got sort of the same questions asked and answered from you on here and in the main forum so I don't need the e-mail address again from you. Thanks alot for the info!!Chris.
