I'm new to this site, a long time rider who just upgraded this past august to a 2005 interceptor. It's a great bike, and bone stock except for a K+N filter. I hope to hit the cabot trail soon-then I'll have some pics to post. The guys I usually ride with have a ZZR-1200 and a yamaha R1, both 2005.
Besides the filter, any other quick and easy mods that I should look at?

Hello, east_coaster. I am new here as well and have ridden for many years myself, thought the majority of that was mx. I think a K&N would be be a good first mod (well, not really a mod per se') as it should allow your bike to breathe better. I know on carbed autos there is usually no adjustment needed for the better air flow and on computer controlled EFI cars the computer does the adjusting as it learns more about the new colume of air it is seeing. You might need some adjustment to your bike to compensate for any A/F mixture changes should your bike start to not run as well as it was.
Overall though I do not think you will have any difficulties by going to a K&N.
