i guess they want to be strapped in case of a crash so they can be next to the sparking metal, gasoline, oil, and shards of plastic from that thing they put around you.

Well, if you get in a wreck, at least your torso has a chance of remaining intact. Your arms and legs will be history, but at least your head will remain attached to what is left of your body.

    Good thinking!

With the majority in that it looks discusting but to be fair when gas prices go mad again as they will there will be more car or bike businesses looking at " safer option " low cost Car / motorcycle crossover solutions.

The afore mentioned image of a firiey crash & partial dismenberment of the rider/builder of this abomination shoud be followed by an eternity in a special place in Hell previously reserved for members of the DN-01 desighn team...

Someone put alot of work into that *whateveritis* and is prolly proud of how it turned out.

But it needs to stay in their garage from now on.

I read his article just now, and I have to say; for such an ugly and uncomfortable looking machine he sure did a good job on finishing his homemade fairings. Still ...............DUMB IDEA!

I keep waiting for it to grow on me, but it gets worse every time I look at it. Apparently my attempt at keeping an open mind is failing dismally...
