Ok, so i have noticed that the early 90's vfr's rear swingarms appear to be the same as the latter 90's(like my 98).....question is does anyone have or know of anyone with extra salvage swingarms for CHEAP..........I am a fabricator and am looking to extend the swingarm, but i dont want to disable my ability to ride by having mine off.......a salvage place here in virginia has one but NEW they go for 1500 (so they say) and he wanted to charge me 500.....i was like holy crap you probably didnt even pay that much for it....anyway if anyone knows of one for less than 500 say 200 or lower :) please email me or call me 804-479-6868 pls pls pls lol

The swingarms on the '90-'93, '94-'97, '98-'01 and '02-'07 VFR are all slightly different.

The first two mount to the frame but have different shock linkage mounts. The second two mount to the engine cases and the fourth is slightly longer.

The '94-'97 swingarm is the one used for CBR900RR conversions, and therefore the most rare and expensive.

'98-'07 swingarms are less expensive - although they can be used on CBR929/954 this bike is no longer as popular due to the CBR1000RR.

I have an '04 VTEC swingarm in excellent condition if you want it.
