Hey folks, been a lurker for a while now and signed up a few weeks ago. Just got me a new for me used RED 02. Bought it up in Portland and rode down to SLC last weekend. Had a blast, made it 800 Miles through every kind of precipitation possible. Still had a blast. Wanted to thank everyone for all the outstanding info and ideas. Also purchased the OEM bags from Cycle Parts Nation, and again thanks to you folks for pointing me to the reduced price. I am looking forward to the troublesome install, always fun when things are difficult. When its easy it seems like ya didn't try hard enough LOL. I have Remus Pipes on her anyone have experience with them and a rack install? I read a bunch of posts about it being more difficult with after markets on there but also read to loosen them up prior to the install and then things seem to fit together better. Now all I need todo is sell my KLR and CBR to make some cash back. Well here is to riding safe and fun.:drinker: ATGATT. P.S. Named her Sophie
Welcome to the nation! Enjoy your new ride, the more you ride it the more attached you'll get to it. One of the best bikes ever made and you'll soon figure out why people say that.
