I bought a regulator off an '07 gsxr the other day to put on my 93 vfr and I need a little help hardwiring it into the existing wires. The gsxr regulator has to sets of wires comming off of it , one has a group of three wires that are all black - which I would assume go to the three yellow wires from the stator. The next group has four wires, two are black and red and the other two are black and white. I heard that suzuki double grounds their r/r but can anyone tell me which two are the grounds and which two go to the power supply.
    Thanks

I have heard a couple of things about this swap. Are the specs on this the same or does it let the stator put out to little or to much charge?

See this link for another post about your question...

The easiest solution is make sure your Suzuki R/R is from years 02-04
These only have 5 wires similar to the Honda units.
    Notes:
    They are not plug-and-play
Male/female connections are slightly different sizes with the Honda plug
Just get wire connectors and solder them in.

    Hope this helps
