I just bought a 1993 VFR750 and I cant find the switch where you change the gas from on to off and reserve. I also have another :frown: SMALL:frown: problem, the gas tank lid where you stick the key is broken. The previous owner told me to just use a screw driver, but I think in the process of messing with it I broke it. How do you take the whole gas tank lid off and put a new one on without opening the latch, is it even possible. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi sc33. If you take the seat off, then look under the left sid of the tank you will see the fuel petcock.
As for taking the lid off, just remove the 7 hex head bolts (open the lid first). Also, there might be a coupld of bolts under the lid, too. A locksmith might be able to fix the lock cylinder for you. IAccording to the list on Bike Bandit.ocm, the whole cap is $130. If you are an AMA member you get a 6% discount. I would try a locksmith first.
