    Check in reviews. There's a lot of tire information there. I'm going to try the Metzler Roadtec Z6 myself as soon as they arrive at my house.

    Michelin Pilots...I'm running a Pilot Power in the front and a Pilot Road in the back. Love 'em.

    I've heard favorable feedback on Pilot Road 2's. A little pricey. Next alternate
    Dunlop Roadsmarts.

    Even though I'm a Dunlop guy - I've been tempted to try a Pilot Power in the front and Pilot Road 2 in the back.

    Seems the main thing about trying different rubber is that the front and rear almost never wear out at the same time, so you tend to stick whats on the opposite end at wear out time.

    I replaced the stock dunlops with the Metzeler Roadtec Z6's and the bike handles 1000% better now.....
    I'm not sure if thats because the stock rubber was shit or the Z6's are great,but my confidence in the corners is WAY higher now...
    I can lean this bike to its absolute limit and have total faith in the Z6's.
    I NEVER dragged a peg with the stock dunlops,they seemed awfully hard and would spin under acceleration.

    Anyhoooo....Z6's=goodness...my .02

    The stock dunlops on the VFR is junk..... And I'm mostly a dunlop guy. The newer dunlops are waaaay better.

    Dunlop Roadsmart best tire I have ever had. Very sticky on the edge and good wear. A little more expensive, but well worth it!

    my Honda mechanic told me today that the Michelin Pilot Road are pretty good and cheap since they just came out with the Pilot Road 2's, and he said that the difference isn't that much, except that the 2's suppose to last longer and for the price, he'd go with the Pilot Roads since they're little cheaper now.

    I have the dunlop 204s (Ordered OEMs from dealer) right after I bought the bike, Never had any problems but at 5600 miles they look bad, just ordered contis Road Attaks, the way I ride they should last quite a while from what everone else says.
