My tail-stop light module seems to have quit working. Honda wants $140 for a new one! Has anyone converted from this rediculous module to a plain wire harness? Is 12 volts really too much for the micro switches at the brakes to handle? Can't seem to locate one on ebay or at the local yard. Maybe a conversion to a flashing LED light? sure its not the light switch at the brake lever/master cylinder? unless both hand and foot brakes don't activate it. you maybe able to get away with wiring in a standard 12v relay to replace...?
