Help on My Ohlins purchase

Hey guys, just purchased a NOS rear shock for my 86 750 and I was wondering a few things.

The spring on it says 1093-39/11.0, will that be an OK spring rate for some one like me- I weigh 235ish, like to get into twisties when I can.

Since this was purchased in 2000, will it be OK to ride for a few seasons before I send it to be rebuilt with new seals and oil/gas refills?

Anything else I need to know about this sweet looking shock before I slap it on the bike and take it for a spin?
