Please help me if you can.
I just purchased my 1st bike and it's a 86 vf500f, I need to find a replacement petcock because its all gunked up and the tube is degrading badly.
I was told you cant replace that long tube, you have to get a whole new petcock.
I had the carbs cleaned but not enough fuel is getting to them, I took the tank off and ran fuel to the carbs and it runs good; but with the tank on I have problems.
So any petcock advice, solutions, etc. would be appreciated.
Also, grips on the handle bars are pretty worn. What size do I need to replace them.

Measure the length with a tape/ruler.........To measure the size of the bar get a adjustable wrench and thighten it down on the bar (Clutch side), slide the wrench off, and measure the gap on the wrench......Monk
