    Old news.
Put the energy to split the water straight into an electric motor and go farther.
Ask the tree huggers how many coal fired or nuke plants they want to build to produce hydrogen from water. You'll probably hear crickets.

Maybe if the defibulation coefficient was higher and the muffler bearing friction was ignored, then it would work.

Actually not running it on water but setting up a system to run it on hydrogen and gasoline.. Getting the hydrogen from a booster kit that I have plans for to build.

Here is a link of all the other " Crazy people " as you call us who are doing it or trying to build it better..

Something like this except made of stainless steel.

Ok, Vlad was right. It takes juice to split water into Hydrogen and Oxygen, so that the Hydrogen can be utilized. You are better off running an electric motor on this juice.

If you are talking about just holding some hydrogen and trying to run your bike on both, it might work out, but you wont find me saddling up with a bottle of hydrogen on my bike, that stuff is a recipe for boom. The only safe way to hold hydrogen is with hydrogen fuel cells that are armored to the TEETH.

It would be hydrogen on demand system. A hydro booster like this.

Don't think you'll make enough H fast enough.

    Why not use nitrous?

    http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=114

Can you calculate the amount of H gas the system would generate for the "boost"?
ie...how many moles of H gas would you be generating?
How many would you need to see any difference to your bike's performance?

I'm guessing that the amount generated as you rode would be insignificant to get an significant difference in HP. If you had a liquid H fuel cell, you could get a boost, but that's not what you'd seem to get with your picture.

Do a quick experiment in your kitchen with the set up you've drawn. You can use a model train transformer to get you anode and cathode. Use a dishpan for your water tank and 2 juice glasses full of water upside down over the anode and cathode. one makes oxygen gas, the other hydrogen (guess which one will make twice as much gas, the H or the O?)

Start your system and time the generation of a juice glass full of H. Then figure how much power and water you'd need on the bike to make a practical example or your drawing.:yield:

After reviewing your results, Then add the nitrous kit to your Christmas List.

Anybody seen those boys up north, racing snow mobiles in farm ponds.
Goes to show that you can run on H2O.
