HELP!!! Have a Ca model VFR!!!

Ok anyways, I have had my VFR since May 2001 and LOVE it!!! I have done loads of modifications all myself. But ... I have a slight delema, I purchased my VFR800Fi from California! =(

Ok I need to know a few things if any of u guru's know the answers as I get conflicting words throughout the forums out on the internet.

1. Does a 2001 Interceptor purchased from CA still have that Ca Smog restriction thingamajiger on it? I have been told the 2001 model doesn't have it, but do not fully trust the source which i recieved this information from.

2. If it does ... How do you go about plugging/removing it? (Detailed if possible)


P.S. If it helps any, I have done these mod's K&N Filter, Removed Snorkle, Arrow Slip on Pipe, HPS Crash Guards (not to impressed with these, post me with questions on why), Custom fender eliminator (ThanX dremel for making an awsome product! =), Custom 12 Volt lighter, 5 Volt USB plugs and some new stickers that make it more aerodynamic! jk =P

 

Hi! Can you post where you got your rear fender mod? Can you go into the mods you have in more detail? I just got a 2001 with 25k miles on it, and it's virtually stock except for this silly carbon type muffler.. which is VERY QUIET (Can I hear a little noise please??!!)

I too have purchased in California, and don't know if I too have any special modifications.
