Help and advice on a windscreen, gel seat, and rear shock for a 1986 VFR750F

I just purchased a very nice 1986 S Honda VFR750F. Aside from a Yoshimura Exhaust System and flush mounted turn signals, it is in stock condition.

I need advice and help on finding good parts sources for this model. I am looking for a replacement windscreen. I have read that some VFR owners prefer a windscreen that is 2” higher. I have found sources for the 90 and up, but nothing for the 1986?

I found someone, on e-bay that will redo the current seat to a combination gel and memory foam seat using the original seat cover. The cost minus shipping is $125.00. Anyone have any experience with this type seat?

I know I can purchase better fork springs and a Gold Valve Kit from Race Tech, but they don’t offer anything for the rear shock. Any advice on getting the rear shock modified, a later Honda shock, 94 CBR600, or a reasonably priced aftermarket shock?
