I started my viffer several times all winter and warmed it up to operating temp. First 50 degree day I rode it around the neighborhood a bit. A few weeks later it was 70 degrees out so i let it heat up again and run for an hour in the garage... then shut it down... Now a few weeks later it wont start. Can anyone help with this? :frown:

It sounds like you killed the battery. Letting the bike idle will not charge the battery enough to sustain it over long periods of time. It must be run at higher rpm levels to actually charge the battery. Break out your multi-meter and check the volts; if it reads low without any load on it then it will never have enough power to start the bike. You didn't mention whether or not the bike was on a charger over the winter... I'm assuming it wasn't... Even your short trip around the block wouldn't help if you didn't get the rpm's up for a good amount of time. Charge the battery and check to see if its holding the charge. There are several threads on this forum that will go into detail if you need help. If it's not holding a charge then buy a new battery and learn from this experience. You're not the first and probably won't be the last. Good luck.

If it turns over, but doesn't start I would guess bad gas. Did you use stabilizer? If not, you'll have to drain the gas and try it with some fresh stuff.
