So I saw a new camera system in my cyclegear catalog for only 200.00 bucks...another 50 or so for a SD card and I got 2 hours of video of me taking Arkansas 7 at about 80mph...I am just wondering if anyone has bought one of these cheap camera setups?? Is the helmet mount difficult to view after recording? (bouncing around) would a camera mount on the gas cap be the better of the two setups? any recomendations on cameras?? and lastly..with wind noise is there any sense on having the volume recording.??For the record..I majored in Finance and not English..so please excuse the occasional prepositional nominative....and horrible punctuation...I am basically looking for someone with a little experience in recording their rides...Let me know...Thanks..

Lots of people here have tank mounted systems. If mounted in the right place, you get engine noise without much wind noise. I have not seen any members' videos with helmet cams, but they may be out there.

Personally, I would mount it on the bike because it is more stable and better engine noise.
