Congratulations on your new bike and Welcome to the WORLD. Wish Honda would still allow the sale of the VFR800 here in Canada as a new machine. Australia truly is a great country.

All the best and don't forget to keep her shiny side up.

Welcome aboard zzzaggg! Quite a few new Aussie members lately. As was mentioned, here in No America they stopped selling the VFR800 back in '09 but from what we know, it's still the same bike. If anything they might have changed a few cosmetic things but for the most part 2002-2012 are all the same generation. Pictures would be nice, this way we can confirm they truly are the same, looks wise...

Hi and welcome to the MadHouse from over in Europe too!:welcome:

The 800 is still on sale in Europe too, but the colour choice is white, grey or candy glory red. They also have adventure styled twins for the 800 and 1200s now which seem to be selling very well. I can't figure out why Honda pulled the 800 from the US market unless there was some new emissions requirement which made it not worthwhile.

Meanwhile as a proud new VFRWorld member you may want to track down Randy before he sells the last of his VFR :vtr2:jacket patches.

    Take care

    welcome. :worthless:

Man, I did not realize they are still making the 8s.

Parts will be available for the 6th gen forever. Makes me wonder if I should keep fixing my 5th gen.
