Bought a beautifully-kept red 2004 VFR yesterday. Flew to Salt Lake City to buy it and rode it home to Phoenix (some of you have possibly seen some posts that have led up to this). Fell in love with the 3rd gen when they came out and have always wanted one (a VFR -- that is, though looking at the pics maybe a 3rd gen in the garage as well one day might be nice) . Eventually decided to sell my Moto Guzzi V11 Sport (sob!) to buy this. So far not disappointed!! Was not aware of the following these bikes have and was pleasantly surprised. Live in Phoenix, AZ, am 48, still like to ride fast (and this bike sure accommodates that!) and do the twisties thing, though with a 9-year-old son and a better understanding of mortality, maybe not quite as crazily as in years past.
Welcome and congratulations on your new purchase Michael! We have some AZ riders if you are interested in rides. You can post up under north america, USA southwest as well, if you want to see about riders joining up with you.
Welcome aboard. Sounds like you're happy so far. It also sounds like AZ is gaining in VFR numbers. You guys should do a state wide get together this fall. Several in Phx and a bunch more in Tucson. Just remember to set aside the ASU/Uof A battle for a bit.
Yes Welcome to the group and nice bike, we love to see pictures so when you get a chanch please post some for us and stick around and enjoy, we have alot of good members in AZ
Michael glad you made it home ok. I'm already missing the bike  but get the school loans paid off and I'll have another in my garage. The guys and gals on this board are great and will take good care of you. So what did you think of the power and have you taken the silencers out of that great Arrow exhaust yet?
