Your English is great. You should see my Serbian . When you say that Serbia has a problem with its traffic culture, what does that mean? Rides in the country are the nicest anyhow.
no body gives a dam for traffic signals, stop signs, the fastest and bigger car you have - you have advantage in traffic, lots of mommy and daddy sons whit to many cars to crash.turn light what is that? And the number of motorcyles in capitol is huge in past 2-5 years.lots of scooters and kids on them.people in cars are not used to see bikes in trafic.lot of acsidents. lot of casultes. best thing is to go far from city. and the worst thing bad trraffic law exaple: if you cros red light whit your bike you pay 5000 dinars that is 70 dolars. off course you blink on corupted cop and give him 50 dolars and you r free no ticket no judge.
That sounds fun . There are always idiots on the road every where, including here, and including motorcyclists as well as car drivers, but I suspect we have it better than lots of places. There is even a committee in the US that proposes vehicle code standards so that the different states will have largely similar vehicle codes. But with gas prices climbing the way they are, we will see more and more scooters on the roads. I suspect there will be some carnage at first, but it maybe a good thing in the long run if it raises people's awareness.
Welcome to the group Mladen. Glad to have you hear with us. If you can be sure to post a picture of your bike. We love pics.
Your traffic culture does not sound very different from ours. Few people use turn signals anymore, no one looks before pulling out onto the road, no respect for other drivers or their vehicles... Bribing the officers is not well received here though.
