alright folks, thought i should say hello and tell you a bit about myself.got my first bike about two and a half years ago. i was lucky enuf for it be a 96 750.when it came time to change i couldn't look at anything that wasn't a v4.after a long search i came across an immaculate 98 800 fi. that bike has served me well for the past year or two over more than 15k miles both commuteing and two up touring. recently tho i've developed a craveing for a blackbird. unfortunatley i can't have both so its vfr or blackbird. i thought this would be a good place to have someone talk sense into me.i love my veefur but have an itch for a one litre, somebody knock some sense into me quickly.
Hold your curser over the images and you should get and idea given your last line in you initial post
you said you wanted sense knocked into you so he threw a brick at you head and spanked you... nuff said.
Thanks Reg. I will see if I can find him in a pub over there is a couple weeks. I think we are doing Dublin too but I am not sure right now. Looking forward to a touch of good ole Irish Whiskey. Maybe a Guinness or two. My grand parents were Irish too. So I understand
Welcome Pivot. Its a taste thing I think, the 800 holds its own on the roads, track may be different tho. I'd stick to the VFR. Cheers
sorry randy, really should have picked up on that.probabley wasn't as alert as i couold have been tho,i had just finished a bottle of wine.drinkin out of pure boredom.( no drunkin paddy stereotypes here:wink.let me know when your coming to dublin and i'll see if i can recommend somethings for ye to do
cheers luke, i dont think i could justify ever gettin rid of the vfr,its just such a good all rounder. maybe when i rich and famous i'll just buy a blackbird aswell.
Ya gotta be alert Paddy. The world need more Lerts.August 6 - 7 we travel from Chester to Dublin. August 8th we are sight seeing in Dublin, Aug 9 we head to Killarney. PM me with a phone number.
