Hello out in VFR land!

Well I've gone and done it after reading some of the posts and observations I put myself in the seat of a new VFR800FD. I'm kind a Odd. I have a love affair with the old 83 V45 VF750F I rode one for 7 years non stop before storing her. I may bring her back some day.
Well I wanted some thing that I could spend time on and not need to tear it apart every three months. I spent some time on a 86 VFR, a 93(nice bike) and played with a 04. I couldn't make myself go for it. The style of this bike kind a hit me and I'm a sucker for pearl white!!!
So in advance, thanks for the riding thoughts and inputs of those who already ride the 2014. You are the folks who made me take the plunge as well as my riding buds who kept pestering me to get back on a V-four!! I don't think I will ever ride this bike as fast as I could ride the V45 but maybe I shouldn't!!!
Ill be spending some time around San Antonio and the Central Texas area getting my feel and sixth sense back. Maybe, Ill run into some of you at a break stop someday!!!!
I'm a fairly open minded guy so any advise, heads up information is great.
