Just wanted to say hi. I've been reading the forums for about a year, since I bought my 2004 Italian Red VFR. Lots of good info here. Current mods on the bike are Arrow exhaust, PCIIIusb with O2 elims, hard bags, a Bagster tank cover/bag. Getting ready to install a throttlemeister and replacing the worn Pilot Powers with the Pilot Road2's.
Welcome to the group. Thanks for joining us here at VFRWorld. Those are some nice mods, too. Let us know what you think about those new tires after you put some miles on them. :thumb:
Welcome to the club Privateer! Sounds like a nice bike! Lots of information to be had on this website...the search engine is a valuable (and underused) tool. Where are you located?
Thanks guys. I can't wait to see how these tires wear, I never really pushed the pilot powers to there limit through the turns. I'm in Salt Lake City. I'll get some pictures up soon.
welcome to the site. glad to have you here. is your weather getting good for riding yet? I just came through the airport in SL the other day and I seem to remember snow still up in the mts, but I never went outside...
Yeah we've still got some snow up on the mountains but even though it's been colder than normal, most riders have their bikes out. Of course it freaking snowed a little last night and is supposed to stay colder for the weekend :frown: we should be in the 70's by now. I put some pics up in the photo section
wecome aboard from the antipodes. is that an Robbe R22 in your avatar? are you a bit of a rotary wing pilot/fan?
Yup it's a little Robbie. I'm just about done with all my flight training, should have my CFII pretty soon, can't wait. Just installed a Throttlemeister and a Powerlet products steering head powerlet kit tonight
