Hello to everyone. My name is Tracy Martin and I don’t actually own a VFR but I’ve ridden one more than once and really like the bike. I currently own a Yamaha FJR1300. So why am I posting on the VFR forum? I teach Lee Park’s Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic and I have had several students in class that ride VFRs. Most recently, “Bubba Zanetti” a forum member attended a class and suggested that I post info about the class and a book that I wrote. In addition to teaching classes and writing books, I write for several motorcycle magazines as well. Sounds cool Tracy. I think you are one of the lucky ones who has been able to build a career around bikes. Congrats to you. I would like to get there myself. I am a ME and long time gearhead rider too. Looks like you are an electrical geek - maybe you can shed lite on the occasional rectifier issue that keeps coming up. MD

You might want to include more details on the school under the reviews part of the forum where there's a riding school piece. What kinda puppies? Any pictures you can add? (even of the big FJ so I can reaffirm my VFR purchase choice ;-)
Hey 3dogs! Welcome to VFRWorld LOL! Just to let everyone know, I ordered Tracy's book since I know very little about electrics and everyone who has a VFR is aware of some of the problems they can have. Especially the regulator/ rectifier issue! Nozzle, you should see Tracy using his FJ to demonstrate the exercises in Total Control. Its pretty wild watching him hang off and turn that bike as sharp as he does! Gives new meaning to "Sport Tourer". BZ
