Hello, My first VFR was a the 500 Interceptor. I got the first 500 to show up in the Honda dealership back in the early 80's. I was driving a XR500 before that. Man was it good to have a bike with electric start and the revolutionary bike design was great. I went through a few bikes after that and for some reason even owned a HD Sportster 883. I finally went back to dual sports bikes a rode a KLR650 for years because of VFR insurance costs. In 2010, I discovered the new VFR 1200 DCT was coming out. I commute into DC so the elimination of having to operate the clutch in traffic with the DCT was right on. I got one of the 2010 demo DCT the deanship had It has been a very dependable bike for commuting and weekend rides. In 2014 I pick up a HP4 for track riding, but that's another story. Very glad to be here and contribute to the VFR community.
