Just wanted to say hello. I am the proud owner of a 2002 VFR (red). Remus exhaust, K&N, Fender hugger and eliminator w 9,000 miles. I just picked it up for 5,800.00. I have owned a Ducati 900SS/CR and a honda Superhawk. I have a great girl that loves being on a bike in the twisties but the VTR superhawk just wasnt very confy 2 up. I did a LOT of research and it looks like the VFR is the best fit for what I need vs what I like to do. So, My only concern going into this is the valve train of the 6th gen bike as I have seen some posts on this site from people experiencing problems. this is a valid concern from a previouse Ducati onwer...But we will see how things work out. Now I just need to try and keep from sitting on the bike making moto noises from now until spring....or from just looking at it and dreaming things up to buy for it!! Keep the feet on the pegs and bars upright - I will be on the road as soon as 20 degree weather/salt leaves! Quinn
Quinn, I to just bought a VFR (06 with 0 miles). I live up in Dayton. I will be going to pick mine up next week as its way to cold to go get it this weekend. As the only bikes i have really ridden are HDs and Buells this will be a nice change. Im still trying to sell my better half that she will be comfortable back there. I think if i get her a backrest she will feel much better. Looking forward to spring myself. Scott
Well hey Quinn and VFR02rider - I am in Dayton myself. Sounds like we should hook up come springtime. - I ride a 5th gen - check my gallery. MD
