Hello from Cental Arizona

Hey everyone, my name is Devan. I'm from the Phoenix area, and have been riding for about 4 years!

I recently sold my Kawasaki Ninja ZX6, and got a beautiful Yellow 2000 VFR, and for a steal too at 2500 USD. It had new tires, chain etc, bike is flawless and already has tasteful mods like two brothers exhaust, DB screen etc etc.

This is my first post but I have to say before I even joined you guys helped me with what to look out for in a VFR more notably, the 5th gen. So by the time I bought it, my knowledge about the bike was pretty substantial, so for that a big THANK YOU! :bravo:

Kudos for adding photos with your first post, and double for finding such a rare yellow beastie. Wow looks stunning.

I am pretty sure there is at least one other VFRW member based in Phoenix who works in a major motorbike dealership. If you need help with the bike just post up and you may find someone willing to swing by and advise - especially if you have a well stocked beer fridge.

If you want to stretch the legs of your 5th gen and meet up with others on VFRW then track down the R3 memorial weekend meeting thread. Chances are you won't be the only rider heading from Phoenix to Atascadero!

Welcome to the madhouse! That's looks like a sharp and clean ride. Looks like you got a good deal on that one. I like the 5th gens. I tried to buy one before getting my 6th gen but the guy said no to my offer (lol) and then a super clean 6th gen popped up and had to take her home.

I'm going out on a limb here but guessing you will probably enjoy it tremendously. lol. Congrats!
