Hello to all in VFR World. I started riding bikes 55 years ago, gave up when kids were growing up etc. Bought a rubbish 1978 CX 500 3 yrs ago it is now pristine condition. I had a whim and bought a 1992 VFR 750 for £500.00 off a mate its done 96000 miles and had loads of money spent on it. No smoke, no rattles and starts first time, need to get it MOT tested next week then I can ride it for the first time !!!. Still feeling good about bikes, but my youngest was kliied in a bike accident in 98 while he was with the British Army. But it was not the bikes fault was it. So at the age of 72 years I keep riding. But I am no Jim Redman or Kevin Schwantz. Cheers all.

    Welcome aboard, Oldie.

Sorry to hear about your son.

As simple folks, we always like pictures of bikes, even those that aren't VFRs. Feel free to post some up.

    Hi oldie. I hope I can still ride when/if I reach 72.
Pull up a chair and enjoy the ride on this forum.

So sorry to hear about your boy. We are not supposed to bury our kids.

But welcome to the World, regardless of your antiquity. Pull oit that old 110 instamatic, put a new flash cube on the top and snap a shot. You can post that after you get it back from the developers.

Of course, I had to read up on photography history to even know about those things.
