Hello from a VFR Hunter in Oakland, CA

I recently sold my much loved 2007 BMW F650GS so I could put the money into something a little sportier.

I'm looking (furiously) for a 2006/7 VFR with ABS (any color but the RWB) since it seems like darn near the perfect bike for my needs.

Welcome!! Good luck with your search for an 06/07'! I'd check over in Marin County (that's where I found my 05'). There are a lot of local VFRW member's so if you need someone to help scout out a used ride just post up and we'll come running!

Yes, I've been scouring CL as well... There was also a great deal down in Monterrey but it was an RWB as well.

Here's what I really want (and think I can find):
2006 or 2007 (Gen 6.2) VFR with ABS
Red, Black or White (listed in order of preference)
Low mileage would be nice. (<10k)
Luggage would be cool but not necessary.
I've got $7k cash on hand and can leverage a bit more for a great deal.
