HEllo from a prospective VFR owner in TX

Hey all,
I currently ride a 1996 Suzuki Katana 600. Love the bike, absolutely adore it, and it's serving me well.

I'm looking at getting a 2nd bike, as the Kat is starting to need more regular maintenance, and as it's my only mode of transportation, when it goes down I'm left without a vehicle. When it runs, it runs amazing and the most fun I've ever had in a vehicle, when it's not running, it's just frustrating.

Anyway, so to solve my dilemma, I'm going to get a second bike. I've been looking at Bandit 1200s and Honda VFRs, they both run in a price range that I'll be able to afford by this summer. I finally settled on the VFR cause it's a sexy damn bike and I've always wanted to own one. I'm looking at 1998 era VFR800s. They generally show up around $3500 on craigslist and local dealers.

Anyway, just wanted to look around these boards and seeing what all has been going on around here.
