I am new to the forum and would like to say hello to all. I am not a VFR rider (yet) but I do have my eye on one that may be coming up for sale. I am a Honda person by nature, I currently ride a CBR900RR as my daily steed and have an 81 CB900 as a project in the works bike. I have always admired the complete balance of the VFR and hope that soon I will be an owner of such a bike. I joined this forum to get some insight on what I could be expecting from this great bike.

i have always loved the fireblade. it was the literbike to have for many years and some of the most awesome customs started from there. what year vfr are you looking at? we are almost evenly divide on the board here between 5th and 6th generation with a few earlier ones sprinkled in the mix for good measure...

Reg71, I am actually looking at a 1994 VFR750F. The reason I am looking at this one is because of the "potentially" great deal I "may" get on one. I have to admit that I do like the later models looks alot better, especially the current model with the exhaust undertail is sexy as all get up.

Ah... thats my man, knows a good VFR when he sees one. Weclome.. good find there, IMO thats the sportest one of the lot.
I agree with the thought of it sorta looking sexy under the tail. Two things bugg me thou. One, not nesessary to have em that big and cluncky, Second no reason to have two of em when one would do, making it also lighter. ala CBR600RR plus then they could clean up the tail a bit. Have you seen a Aprilia Millie RSVR now theres a good looking tail. Only dual pipe I've seen that looks great is a 919-96-98 Ducati, hint hint Honda. bring me back the NR look, then you'd have nailed it down.

My sentiments exactly RVFR! The Ducati set the standard as far as rear end, another favorite of mine is the MV Agusta F4 (insert my drool right here).
