Hi there, just joined the group and wanted to introduce myself. The names Darren and I currently own a 2003 VFR800FI mainly stock with the exception of a pair of Delkevic slip on's. I have owned a few bike including from the start a yamaha FS1, Honda MTX, honda cb, Suzuki 400, honda Shadow 250, yamaha 650 special, Kawasaki 650, 2000 Honda 600cbr, 2002 honda 600 cbr fi Rossi rep no 101, Aprilia RSV Factory. and now for the VFR800. I have to say I was expecting to be a little disappointed after the Aprilia, Was I surprised! Other the the lack of engine braking the VFR is an absolute pleasure to ride with tons of grunt and excitement I also have A discovery 2 which is set up for expeditions and I'm a Radio Ham M0RCY
Greetings Darren. Welcome to the board. I've really enjoyed this site for the last few months and have learned a lot about my vfr. Most newbies post a pic of their bike. ( it has something to do with bike porn, I think) I briefly considered an aprilla before I got my vfr. I love my bike but still want to ride one someday.
Welcome! That's a decent list of bikes... perhaps you'll find the VFR to be the best rounded of them.
